That's why we need to hear from educated people from different backgrounds, the guy is giving a different perspective to life that we were unaware of and some wouldn't even understand what he is saying. Like the noise level thing which exhausts you by the end of the day which you don't feel when you live abroad with lower noise levels.

It was a kind of really good conversation. I like his thoughts and sense of explaining questions from different perspectives. Although he lived 10 years of life in the Western world, still his thoughts are giving importance to our culture, language, and education system. These kinds of personalities should be given space in our country for improvement. Thankyou Junaid bhai for this conversation.

Love you Junaid Bhai. Happy to see you choose great topic of learning and education. Why do people make negative comments about such such serious issue. Please do another podcast episode with him. A longer one. I felt so glad finally someone discussed Issues of publishing industry.
As an aspiring book author, Please ask the following questions:
1 - Total readership in Pakistan of books other than curriculum and its comparison with our neighborhood countries and whole world.
2 - What are the complete steps to get a writer book published in this country?
3 - is there anything can be done on the public's side to build reading communities and libraries in Pakistan?
4 - As much as I know, there are publication houses in Pakistan too, such as Oxford University press, Liberty, Vanguard etc. Are these publishing houses going into loss?
5 - What's the best business model for any publishing house in Pakistan's context, for publishing English books other than curriculum
    Thank You

Pakistan has more than 70 languages. The language hierarchy is: English first, Urdu second and then the indigenous languages. English and Urdu are already thriving here. We need to give official recognition to indigenous languages and start teaching our children in their mother tongues as recommended by UNESCO.

Agreed. Childhood education should be primarily be in the child’s native language and dialect. Children can learn up to 6 languages by the time they are teenagers so it won’t be a daunting task to create trilingualism. Tho it will be a challenge.

Reading Culture is mostly absent in the Indian Subcontinent, more so in vernacular languages
In the USA, Andrew Carnegie and Rockefeller ( "Robber Barrons" of 19th century USA) were building public libraries and Cultural centres across the length and breadth of the country (opera House et al) to burnish their image in society,
One thing for sure, these changes in culture happen top down rather than being bottom up
Elites here are mostly uninterested in these things

I live in Canada and let me tell you its not easy you should be encouraging students and people there on how gain skills online and make their life better with smart investments so they can make Pakistan a better country. Sir I agree with the point k problem are teachers not students but at many places in sindh specially I have seen the self seated student who comes on daddy money in universities they don't study and since the system in universities is ratta fixation they easily get the degree so what's the difference between that guy who spent 4 years chilling and ratta pass and the one who understands the concepts very well and teachers do prefers that ratta boy and for you info I am a who has dealt with that system in sindh. Did intermediate from here and got into that entry test centre paradox and in university circle.
How will you change that in Pakistan this rotten system which easily frustrates a creative mind.

Reading books is one of those things that can’t be replaced by any social network platform, OTT or gaming. When you watch it’s before you but when you read, it’s inside you. It’s much more intimate, it happens in your brain. You feel the author and get a sense of their thoughts behind the book. Language isn’t a barrier for people not to pick any books in their native language. It’s mostly because of lack of content. I am a sucker for fantasy, scifi and progression fantasy. Gimme a good progression fantasy novel, I'd even learn Russian for it. Just because someone likes reading in English doesn’t mean they’d only study foreign literature though there’s nothing wrong with it. I read Ramayana and Mahabharata in English and read P.G.Wodehouse’s books in Telugu and English. I don’t agree schools to have Urdu medium or even Hindi medium. Even with so many English medium schools, the level of English people can speak/write here is so so. Besides one of the major reason for MNCs to hire us south Asians and not others is English. Ditch English as medium, kids will struggle in their careers and studies. What we need are institutions like Goethe Zentrum that promote language. Make an institution, fund writers, make plays on the books, skits on the book, have reading contests, things like these needs to be done. Not pushing down one language down the people's throats. Like India, Pakistan is also diverse nation with different languages and cultures. Sadly they have been suppressed and neglected so much. Pakistan or India has been there only for 75 years or so but our languages and culture thrived for centuries even with all the foreign conquerors.

Local languages pakistani low samjhte h & Ab Pakistan ko Urdu se bhi dikkat hone lagi h kyonki Pakistani ant & culture ko duniya India se jod ke dekhti h kyonki Hindi & Urdu lagbhag same h... Pakistani apne culture ki identity hi banate rahte h jabki khud apni languages hata ke imported language apne upar daal Li..aaj Pakistan me Punjabi bolne Wale India se 4 times h fir bhi Punjabi ko Pakistan se jod ke nahi dekha jata jabki Bangladeshiyon ne Bangali ko apni language bana liya...

I was dropping off my daughter at school and (while driving) the podcast started and TBH .. even i had some important work to do but i wasn't able to discontinue this podcast.... Rizwan bhai is a Gem ... all that discussion took me in my childhood when we used to read books Naune'haal, Taleem o Tarbiat etc ...
100% agree with Rizwan bhai thoughts.. Though it'll take time but we need to revive our language and curriculum... Learn from the examples of Germans, Turks, Ianians , Korians, Japanese etc..
They have the education in their own language but they are developed nations and competing the world .. im not against English but our education system has to come up with some solution and work with these brilliant n talented publishers like KIFAYAT 👍..
Lots of Love from Australia 🇦🇺

One can clearly see the difference between Indians and pakistanis in these comment sections of your videos. On one hand we Indians are here appreciating your good content and the worthy knowledge it carries while on the other hand you have your own countrymen making fun of the podcast and being ignorant as hell.

He is widely popular in Pakistan and there are more podcasts springing up in Pakistan in the age of internet. Maybe because Indians tend to comment more than Pakistanis which I, a Pakistani, have observed. One can enjoy the content and learn from it without necessarily commenting it

We Pakistanis don't care about education and it's not our FIRST priority.
We don't even follow our Islam properly and pick and choose from it and claim that it's our number 1 criteria. May Allah Guide us

Don't paint everyone with the same brush. On this very channel we have your countrymen shaming and leaving comments filled with vulgar language and how many comments did you read here from Pakistanis making fun because I didn't see any.
So mate, get down from the high horse.

2nd comment: perhaps you didn't go through the comment section properly. The filth and hate that your compatriots are leaving here shows the indoctrination so seriously on what bases do you think you hold the superior ground moral to give us lecture on it? Pathetic.

We Pakistanis must work on being taught in our native languages like Punjabi, Balochi, Balti etc. given the right conditions, children can learn up to 6 languages by the time they are teenagers or adults so it won’t be a daunting task to create a trilingual Pakistani society which is fluent and literate in native language, Urdu and English. But the first step to achieving this would be to recognize that although the narrative sold to us is that Urdu is our national language, it is not the ground reality. Every Pakistani must realize his/her right to be given world class education in his/her native language. Not knowing English / Urdu should not be a barrier to achieving big inside Pakistan. Secondly, information and knowledge must be translated into native languages to be disseminated into every household. The child is more likely to absorb the content and carry it forward.

Bad editing and chopped down into the wrong places. It seems the guest said too much which was not aligned with ganji's version or he was too afraid that people might take it the wrong way
